Audio eBooks at the Public Library
The Public Library is great. It is one of the greatest free resources we have in our urban areas. More specifically, the Audio eBooks knock me out. I am an avid reader/listener of mystery novels and the library allows me to download and then immediately listen to books on either my mp3 player or computer. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Here’s a brief blurb from the Montgomery County Public Libraries website:
Audio eBooks Download and listen to audio eBooks on your computer or MP3 player! Audio eBooks are digital versions of audio books that you can download and listen to on your computer or a portable listening device such as an MP3 player. We now offer two collections of Audio eBooks from: NetLibrary/Recorded Books and Maryland’s Digital eLibrary Consortium.

Did use libs prior to elib, not nearly as much. Curious to know why you’d want to know.
